BDO Belgium is seeking an experienced M&A Director to lead high-impact transactions from strategy through execution. You will advise entrepreneurs and executives, drive client relationships and grow BDO’s Belgian M&A Advisory presence.

You will combine strong technical expertise in valuation and deal structuring with leadership, a network of market participants, and fluency in Dutch and English to deliver integrated, value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in M&A or related advisory
• Proven track record in buy-side and sell-side transactions
• Strong network of entrepreneurs, investors and bankers
• Commercial acumen with a history of business development
• Technical expertise in valuation, financial modelling and deal structuring
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration; CFA is a plus
• Fluent Dutch and English; French is a strong advantage
• Entrepreneurial and growth-driven mindset

Responsabilités

• Be the trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, investors and senior executives on growth, acquisitions, divestments and financing decisions.
• Lead high-impact transactions from strategy to closing across buy-side, sell-side and growth financing projects.
• Drive business growth by developing client relationships and strengthening BDO's presence in the Belgian M&A market.
• Shape strategic decisions through financial analysis, valuation insights, due diligence and pragmatic deal advice.
• Structure and finance deals by advising on transaction structures and funding strategies.
• Manage key stakeholders and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for a smooth deal process.
• Deliver excellence by overseeing high-quality engagements and value-driven recommendations.
• Develop future leaders by coaching and mentoring managers, consultants and analysts.
• Leverage collaboration across Tax, Legal, Audit, Accounting and Consulting to deliver integrated solutions.
• Create value beyond the deal by helping clients realise growth opportunities.
