Job summary

Elia Belgium is seeking a Buyer Field Services to manage procurement for field services, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the high-voltage grid. You will work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership and contract lifecycle management.

The role requires a master’s degree and at least five years in procurement, with fluency in Dutch and French and strong English. Onsite presence two days per week and occasional travel to Berlin are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least five years in procurement or contract management.
• Strong negotiation skills and tender leadership experience.
• Analytical and commercial judgement with ability to translate information into recommendations.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead complex files while collaborating with teams.
• Experience in project-based work and supplier performance management.

• Developing and executing structured procurement strategies for Field Services.
• Challenging requirements and shaping sourcing approaches for added value.
• Building long-term supplier relationships and aligning stakeholders.
• Leading tendering processes, contract negotiations, and lifecycle management.
• Mitigating commercial and contractual risks and ensuring ERP follow-up.
