Job summary

Elia Transmission Belgium is seeking a Senior Buyer for Project Services to manage a portfolio of outsourced project activities across engineering, environmental studies and consultancy services.

You will act as the strategic link between internal stakeholders and suppliers, driving category strategies, negotiations and contract performance across multi-site projects in Belgium and beyond, with regular travel to Germany.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in procurement, contract management or a related field.
• Experience with public procurement and project-based services is an asset.
• Strong negotiating and analytical skills; ability to advise stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category, tender and sourcing strategies for outsourced project services.
• Act as trusted commercial partner by challenging requirements and guiding stakeholders through supplier selection.
• Build supplier relationships and monitor project performance, including scope, budgets and changes.
• Manage risks and drive improvements in contract implementation and ERP reporting.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to balance service, cost, risk and delivery.
