Job summary

Tzportal seeks a Strategic Buyer in Belgium to develop procurement strategies for large-scale industrial projects. You will source suppliers, run RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, and manage supplier performance to ensure reliability and value creation.

The ideal candidate has a Master or Bachelor in a related field and at least five years of strategic sourcing in EPC or process industries, with strong negotiation skills and proficiency in ERP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Admin, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of strategic sourcing or industrial purchasing.
• Experience in EPC, Energy, Oil & Gas, or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop a competitive supplier base.
• Lead RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Assess suppliers on quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and HSE.
• Lead negotiations and secure favorable terms.
• Develop and monitor supplier KPIs and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Project teams.
• Manage supplier performance and risk across projects.
