Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is seeking a Budget Planning Officer to coordinate, monitor, and optimize budget-related activities across the EMEA Development Centre. You will work with stakeholders to track cost evolution, propose corrective actions, and foster cost awareness and transparency within a multinational team.

The role involves planning the EDC Resource Plan and managing the full budget cycle, with emphasis on process standardization and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Commercial Engineering.
• Prior experience in a similar role with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Critical mindset with a drive for process improvement.
• Effective communicator and team player in a multicultural environment.
• Advanced Excel user; knowledge of Power BI and SAP is a plus.
• Proficient in English.

Responsabilités

• Preparation of the EDC Resource Plan, including expenses, investments, and workforce requirements.
• Management of the entire EDC budget cycle: tracking, controlling and reporting of results vs. budget.
• Standardize and enhance processes related to budget planning, control, and reporting across Europe.
• Advocate for cost responsibility, correctness, and transparency.
• Enhance cost planning and monitoring as a core pillar of project management.
