Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a Strategic Account Manager for Industry Electrification to drive growth with major industrial customers across the Benelux region. Location: Zaventem, Belgium or Rotterdam, Netherlands, with hybrid work and reporting to the Sales Manager Benelux.

You will develop long-term account strategies, coordinate cross-functional resources, and lead complex sales cycles, positioning Hitachi Energy as the preferred partner for large-scale industrial transformation programs.

Qualifications

University degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
7+ years in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development in industrial or project-driven environments.
Strong ability to develop strategic account plans and deliver measurable growth.
Experience in matrix and international organizations with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own and develop strategic customer relationships.
Act as the primary interface for key accounts and build long-term partnerships.
Drive account growth and commercial performance with structured plans.
Deliver a coordinated, value-driven sales approach across units.
Manage complex sales cycles, proposals, and negotiations.
Leverage market insights to anticipate customer needs and strengthen positioning.
