Job summary

European Space Agency is seeking an experienced programme manager for the ESA Academy training activities within the Education Office. You will lead planning, delivery and ongoing development of the training portfolio, coordinating experts, content and digital learning solutions to support early-career professionals in the space sector.

You will oversee training delivery, monitor performance and contribute to outreach, procurement, and budget processes in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant domain is required with eight years of relevant professional experience.
• Alternative: a bachelor’s degree plus four years of relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, coordination, implementation and continuous improvement of ESA Academy Training activities.
• Manage end-to-end preparation, delivery and follow-up of training sessions.
• Oversee the development and evolution of the training portfolio.
• Coordinate development and quality assurance of training content.
• Manage trainers, lecturers and subject matter experts.
• Manage digital learning resources and e-learning activities.
• Coordinate services, contracts, trainees and early-career professionals.
• Support training infrastructure and learning platforms.
• Maintain relations with universities, research organisations and industry.
• Contribute to outreach and communication.
• Monitor programme performance and prepare reports; support budget preparation and procurement activities.
