Tekst is shaping the next era of Process Intelligence for AI agents, trusted by global brands. We seek a Software Engineer to own the core platform, scale processing from millions to tens of millions of events per day, and drive high-impact automations across back-office workflows.

You will work in a modern microservice architecture on AWS, mentor teammates, and contribute to end-to-end solutions that give AI agents the right context to perform reliably. Excellent English required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional experience building production-grade systems.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices and AWS deployment.
• Scale mindset and experience with high-volume data.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration with product/design teams.
• Bonus: experience with AI/ML systems or process automation.

About Tekst & Our Mission

At Tekst, we just raised $13.5M in Series A funding to rebuild Process Intelligence for the Agentic era. We’re building the context layer that allows AI agents to work at scale on the back-office processes that actually matter. With enterprise customers like Daikin, Colruyt, Mitsubishi and Nokia, we are cutting through the AI hype to deliver real, measurable automation.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you will join our engineering team. This team owns our core platform and the vast array of automations running in the background. We currently process millions of events per day and our goal for this year is to 10x everything. We are looking for engineers who want to make a massive impact and play the "high-scale game."

What will you be doing?

• Scale to 10x: Design and build features that allow our platform to scale from millions to tens of millions of events per day.
• Feature ownership: Build and improve the platform features used by global enterprises to automate their most complex manual processes.
• Architecture: Work within a modern microservice architecture deployed on AWS, making decisions that impact system reliability and performance.
• Full-stack impact: Join a team that owns the end-to-end flow of automation, ensuring our AI agents have the right context to perform flawlessly.
• Mentor & lead: Collaborate with fellow engineers and provide technical guidance (mentoring) to maintain high engineering standards as the team grows.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience building production-grade systems (we value the ability to mentor others)
• Tech stack: Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as TypeScript.
• Infrastructure: Experience with microservices and AWS deployment.
• Scale mindset: You are excited by high-volume data and the challenges of distributed systems.
