Tetra Pak in Belgium is seeking a Service Engineer to join our Services Organization. Based in GrootBijgaarden, you will be part of a professional team delivering preventive maintenance and technical services for packaging equipment.

You will travel extensively within the Benelux region and occasionally support other markets. Strong mechanical/electrical skills and PLC knowledge are valued, with English and Dutch language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Technical or engineering background and/or relevant technical experiences.
• Preferred mechanical (hydraulic and pneumatic) and electrical (PLC) knowledge.
• Strong mechanical background with packaging knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in the food industry is beneficial.
• English and Dutch language skills are a plus.
• B driving license and willingness to travel extensively within Benelux.

Responsabilités

• Prepare customer site for installation and commissioning events of packaging equipment.
• Participate in execution of preventive maintenance activities for packaging equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on-site and remotely.
• Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff in a timely manner about discovered technical issues.
• Participate in the installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits.
• Inform relevant Tetra Pak Field Staff about ongoing service activities and issues.
• Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak to customers and colleagues, protecting the company's reputation.
• Execute all work following safety regulations and quality standards.
• Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues.
• Comply with all reporting requirements

Job Summary

Our Services Organization is growing at a high pace, that’s why we are looking for enthusiastic and customer oriented Service Engineers to join our team in Belgium.

As a Service Engineer, you will be a part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering technical products and support to our customers by providing preventive maintenance and technical services. You will act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company’s reputation for commitment and service worldwide. That’s why we consider this role to be of great importance. In this position, you will be travelling extensively and occasionally support others market abroad if needed.

You will be based in GrootBijgaarden, Belgium and report to Service Delivery Manager.

What you will do

As a Service Engineer you will:

• Participate in preparing customer site for installation and commissioning events of packaging equipment.
• Participate in execution of preventive maintenance activities for packaging equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on-site and remotely.
• Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff in a timely manner about discovered technical Issues.
• Participate in the installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits.
• Inform relevant Tetra Pak Field Staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak service.
• Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring good working relationships with the customerand Tetra Pak colleagues and that Tetra Pak’s reputation is sustained.
• Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements.
• Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues.
• Comply with all reporting requirements

We believe you have

• Technical or engineering background and/or relevant technical experiences. Preferred Mechanical(hydraulic and pneumatic) experience and electrical experience (electrical, PLC knowledge)
• Strong mechanical experience will be an advantage which would include packaging knowledge.
• Experience in the food industry is seen as beneficial.
• Experience with Tetra Pak equipment will be an advantage.
• A good command of English and Dutch language skills is plus.
• A valid driving license (B category) and willingness to travel extensively within Benelux regions.
