Job summary

HumanInTech is seeking a seasoned Windows Server administrator for a Belgian public-sector IT operation in Brussels. You will resolve complex incidents, implement service requests, and manage releases on application servers while maintaining Citrix XenDesktop and RDSH infrastructure. Fluency in Dutch (CEFR C2) is required.

You will join a platform IT operations team in a hybrid Brussels setting, supporting a wide Windows-based ecosystem and ensuring high availability of core services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as a system administrator (setup, management and maintenance of systems).
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience at system engineer level with one specialist system (Unix/Linux/Windows, mainframe, middleware, security, network).
• 5 years of knowledge and experience with Active Directory and Group Policies.
• 5 years of knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2016 or higher.
• 5 years of knowledge with Windows Infrastructure Services (DHCP, DNS, PXE) and firewalling technology.
• 2 years of knowledge with Microsoft 365 technologies (Exchange Online, Teams, Authentication).
• Fluent Dutch at CEFR level C2.

Responsibilities

• Resolving second and third-line incidents.
• Implementing small service requests related to the offered services.
• Executing line-of-business releases on application servers.
• Maintaining Citrix XenDesktop Servers and Remote Desktop Session Hosts.
• General maintenance and monitoring of the Windows Server environment.
