KLA is seeking a Senior Algorithm Engineer to join the Vision Systems team in Leuven. You will help build the Vision Engine for inspection tools, combining software algorithms with embedded hardware. The role includes exploring machine learning to enhance capabilities and deliver high-performance solutions for our customers.

Qualifications

• Background in Engineering or Computer Science with at least 3–5 years of experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming and able to optimize code for performance.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Podman) and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Understanding of version control and build systems (Makefiles).
• Eager to stay updated on software/hardware trends and CV packages.

Responsabilités

• Develop software for new inspection challenges based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with software teams to validate new inspection flows in our machines.
• Support field engineers and APPS division with the vision system workflows.
