Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking a seasoned professional to bridge operations with strategic transformation initiatives in Mechelen. You will ensure operational realities and risks are integrated through large-scale change programs, represent operations in governance forums, and coordinate cross-department resource needs.

You will drive governance structures, facilitate collaboration among business, operations and IT, and lead continuous improvement programs to protect operational stability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Operations, Service Delivery, or Transformation Management.
• Proven track record in Program Management and leading large-scale change initiatives.
• Experience in Solution Design and Operational Readiness assessments.
• Ability to facilitate discussions between business, operations and technical stakeholders.
• Strong governance experience within complex transformation landscapes.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure environments.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

This role focuses on ensuring that operational realities, dependencies, and risks are effectively integrated throughout the lifecycle of large-scale change programs.

• Represent operations within enterprise-wide transformation programs and project governance forums to ensure alignment.
• Assess the operational impact of proposed strategic initiatives and coordinate resource requirements across departments.
• Support solution design activities by providing operational context and identifying necessary subject matter expertise.
• Lead operations-driven continuous improvement programs and develop structured implementation approaches for organizational change.
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across service delivery, technology, and business functions to facilitate adoption.
• Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent transformation initiatives to protect operational stability.

• 8+ years of professional experience in Operations, Service Delivery, or Transformation Management.
• Proven track record in Program Management and leading large-scale change initiatives.
• Extensive experience in Solution Design and conducting Operational Readiness assessments.
• Experience facilitating discussions between business, operational, and technical stakeholders.
• Strong background in creating governance structures within complex transformation landscapes.
• You possess a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
• You're able to manage competing priorities and navigate high-pressure environments.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience within telecommunications, utilities, or infrastructure services sectors.
• Knowledge of Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with organizational change management methodologies such as Prosci or ADKAR.
