Huxley is seeking a Telephony Technical Lead & Systems Engineer (Senior) in Brussels. This hybrid role requires on-site presence a minimum of 3 days and involves leading telephony infrastructure design and operation within a major Belgian organization.

The candidate will drive architectural decisions, coordinate with security and engineering teams, and ensure performance, security, and reliability across enterprise telephony platforms. English plus French or Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience with IP Telephony solutions.
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead within infrastructure or development projects.
• Strong background in Solution Design.
• Recent involvement in IP Telephony projects within the last 2 years.
• Extensive knowledge of SIP and VoIP technologies, enterprise telephony platforms, routing, switching, and IP networking.
• Experience leading and coordinating technical teams.
• Fluent English and either French or Dutch.

• Design and define telephony infrastructure solutions in collaboration with architects, engineers, and security teams.
• Lead technical decision-making for telephony-related projects.
• Support modernization and evolution of enterprise telephony platforms.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, resilience, security, and performance requirements.
• Coordinate technical activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide expert support during incidents and complex troubleshooting activities.
• Lead root cause investigations and problem management initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of the telephony environment.
