Job summary

Pauwels Consulting seeks a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to join its cross-functional architecture team in Brussels. You will provide technical leadership, evolve reference architectures, and drive the architectural evolution of large-scale digital systems in a hybrid work model.

The role demands 8+ years in Java/Spring Boot, leadership experience, frontend skills (TypeScript/Angular), architectural modeling (C4/Archimate/DDD), and hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ; security

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• 8+ years of experience in technical leadership and team management.
• Expertise in frontend development using TypeScript and Angular.
• Strong background in architecture modeling using C4 or Archimate and DDD methodologies.
• Proven experience with containerization and messaging tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and RabbitMQ.
• In-depth knowledge of security and API standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, OpenAPI, and AsyncAPI.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Gradle, and automated testing tools like TDD and Cypress.
• Proficiency in Hibernate and system observability with OpenTelemetry.
• Submission of a completed coding exercise response as part of the application process.
• You are fluent in French with an active knowledge of English.

Responsibilities
