Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking an experienced technical leader to drive the development of a scalable, AI-enabled business platform in a cloud environment. The role focuses on maintaining high code quality and architectural standards while mentoring the team.

You will translate business requirements into technical analyses, manage AI-native coding processes, and implement a robust DevOps culture with containerization and CI/CD optimizations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development with .NET and C#.
• 8+ years of cloud-native infra and services on Azure.
• Proven technical leadership with code reviews and analyses.
• 5+ years of DevOps: Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Frontend development experience with Angular.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
• Strong problem solving under pressure; proactive and curious.

Requirements

• You possess 8+ years of experience in backend development using .NET and C#.
• You bring 8+ years of expertise in cloud-native infrastructure and services within Azure.
• You have extensive experience in technical leadership, including code reviews and technical analysis.
• You have 5+ years of experience with DevOps practices involving Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• You possess knowledge of frontend development using Angular.
• You bring practical experience with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• You have the ability to solve complex problems and remain focused under pressure.
• You're proactive, curious, and committed to continuous professional development.
• You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Marten for event sourcing and document-oriented data management.
• Expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles for building structured applications.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, MassTransit, and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, PostgreSQL, or Elasticsearch.
• Possession of AZ-204 or AZ-400 certifications.
