Job summary

Movu Robotics in Belgium seeks a Team Lead Controls Hardware Engineering to guide a CHW team of 5–10 engineers. You will apply standardized solutions, oversee design work, and ensure delivery aligns with project specs while coordinating across functions.

On-site presence for IO testing and safety validations is required. You bring a Master’s or Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, 8+ years of experience, 3+ years leading a team, CAD (Eplan) and Caneco expertise, fluent English (Dutch a plus),

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with an electrical specialization.
• 8+ years' experience in Electrical infrastructure Engineering.
• 3+ years managing a team of Engineers.
• Experience with Eplan and Caneco.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Controls Hardware Engineering team of 5–10 members.
• Apply standardized solutions and ensure design alignment with guidelines.
• Plan team work, monitor progress weekly, and report results.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage system integration.
• Approve technical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Handle budgeting and on-site IO testing and safety validations.
• Provide training and participate in recruitment when needed.
