Job summary

Mackinnon Bruce International is recruiting for a Team Lead Controls Hardware Engineering in Lokeren, Belgium. You will lead a team delivering the electrical hardware side of projects, staying technically involved while guiding decisions and ensuring on-time delivery.

You will oversee planning, design reviews, and collaboration with other engineering functions, with on-site testing and safety validation as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of engineers in electrical hardware for machines or automation.
• Ability to plan resources and manage multiple projects weekly.
• Hands-on involvement in technical decisions and design reviews.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems and machine safety.
• Experience with electrical infrastructure engineering and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of controls hardware engineers.
• Plan resources and review progress weekly.
• Guide electrical design using established standards and solutions.
• Review designs, technical docs and system integration.
• Coordinate with other engineering functions for deviations or complex solutions.
• Support on-site I/O testing, commissioning and safety validation.
• Contribute to recruitment, training and team reporting.
