Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go or Rust (at least one).
• Experience with devops tooling such as Kubernetes, Salt, Kafka or Systemd.
• Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale.
• Security experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design systems and write code following modern best practices.
• Deploy and maintain live software services at scale (high requests/second, many customers).
• Mentor other engineers through knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on security risks and how they affect Cloudflare products.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers across teams to deliver roadmap.
