Aikido Security is seeking a Software Engineer focused on runtime security to build new capabilities for Kubernetes, Linux hosts, and cloud environments. You’ll research emerging attack techniques and ship end-to-end product features with product and engineering teams.

You’ll develop Go services powering runtime security, collaborate with customers to understand real-world threats, and contribute across Kubernetes, cloud integrations, and developer tooling in a fast-growing security company.

Qualifications

• Strong Go skills.
• Experience building and shipping production software.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Good understanding of Linux and/or other operating systems.
• Experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
• Comfortable working across the stack to deliver features end-to-end.
• Curious and eager to learn new technologies, especially in the cloud security space.
• Comfortable working directly with customers to investigate issues and understand their needs.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

• Design and build new runtime security capabilities across Kubernetes, Linux hosts and CI/CD environments.
• Develop features that help customers detect, investigate and understand runtime threats.
• Research emerging attack techniques and security technologies, and translate them into practical product capabilities.
• Build reliable, Go services that power Aikido's runtime security capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with customers to understand real-world threats and continuously improve our product.
• Contribute wherever needed across Aikido, from runtime security to Kubernetes, cloud integrations and developer tooling.
