EPSA is seeking a hands-on Senior Storage & Virtualization Infrastructure Engineer to design, manage, and optimize a mission-critical datacenter environment.

You will administer NetApp ONTAP storage, Dell PowerScale/Isilon, Dell PowerStore, and VMware vSphere, while ensuring high availability and performance across Windows Server ecosystems. Strong scripting with PowerShell and advanced networking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient with NetApp ONTAP administration and performance tuning.
• Experience with Dell PowerScale/Isilon OneFS.
• Hands-on VMware vSphere (vCenter/ESXi) management and clustering.

We're Hiring: Senior Storage & Virtualization Infrastructure Engineer

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise storage, VMware virtualization, and Windows Server environments? Join our team and play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing mission-critical datacenter infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Administer and optimize NetApp ONTAP storage systems (NAS/SAN)
• Manage SVMs, volumes, LUNs, Snapshots, SnapMirror, and SnapVault
• Monitor capacity and plan infrastructure growth
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage incidents

Dell PowerScale / Isilon

• Configure SMB/NFS, SmartPools, SmartConnect, and SnapshotIQ
• Perform cluster scaling (node additions and replacements)
• Optimize throughput for high-performance workloads
• Investigate and resolve cluster alerts and performance issues

Dell PowerStore

• Manage Dell PowerStore X/T appliances
• Provision storage, manage volumes, and integrate with VMware
• Monitor performance and optimize workloads
• Support storage migrations and infrastructure upgrades

VMware Administration

• Administer VMware vSphere, including vCenter Server and ESXi
• Configure and maintain VMFS, NFS, and vVol datastores
• Manage virtual networking (Standard vSwitch, Distributed vSwitch, VLANs)
• Oversee ESXi lifecycle management, including patching, firmware, and drivers

Windows Server Administration

• Administer Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, replication, and security hardening
• Support Failover Clustering and DFS environments
• Provide expert-level support for application servers
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across CPU, memory, storage I/O, drivers, and compatibility

Networking

• Strong knowledge of NAS/SAN protocols including SMB3, NFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel
• Advanced TCP/IP networking, VLANs, LACP, routing, ACLs, and firewalls
• Manage datacenter connectivity, redundancy, and Spine-Leaf architectures
• Troubleshoot storage-related network latency and performance issues
• Contribute to storage, virtualization, and Windows infrastructure architecture
• Define infrastructure standards and best practices
• Lead technical activities during hardware refreshes and migration projects
• Produce technical documentation and operational procedures
• Perform capacity planning and infrastructure forecasting

Expert Support & Automation

• Provide Level 3 support for critical production incidents
• Identify trends and implement proactive improvements
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, and NetApp/PowerScale APIs
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure enhancements
