ARHS Group seeks an experienced SAP HANA Infrastructure & Unix/Linux Engineer to join a large enterprise environment managing mission-critical SAP landscapes. The role focuses on administration, maintenance, and evolution of SAP HANA and SAP applications hosted in an on-premises data center.

You will work on IBM Power (AIX) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms, ensuring high availability, DR readiness, and automation-driven improvements across the infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IBM Power AIX experience.
• 5+ years of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9 experience.
• 5+ years of SAP HANA environments in large enterprises.
• Strong scripting/automation background (Ansible).
• Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR).
• Familiarity with SAN storage and enterprise networking.

Responsabilités

• Manage and maintain SAP HANA and SAP application environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents and problems.
• Perform SAP application server patching activities.
• Participate in SAP HANA infrastructure patching (OS and firmware updates).
• Support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.

• Create, coordinate, and implement changes and releases perDefined processes.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture designs, and operational procedures.

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Infrastructure & Unix/Linux Engineer to join a large enterprise environment supporting mission-critical SAP landscapes. The role focuses on the administration, maintenance, and evolution of SAP HANA and SAP application environments hosted in an on-premises data center.

About the Role

As part of a dedicated Infrastructure Operations team, you will be responsible for the deployment, administration, and optimization of SAP infrastructure running on both IBM Power (AIX) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms. You will contribute to highly available and disaster recovery-enabled environments while ensuring compliance with agreed service levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SAP HANA and SAP application environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents and problems.
• Perform SAP application server patching activities.
• Participate in SAP HANA infrastructure patching, including OS and firmware updates.

• Participate in an on-call support rotation.
• Create, coordinate, and implement changes and releases according to defined processes.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture designs, operational procedures, and automation scripts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and infrastructure automation initiatives.

Technical Expertise

• Minimum 10 years of experience with IBM Power 8/9/10/11 systems running AIX.
• Strong experience with ARF Cluster Framework (Escala Bull).
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and 9.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with HP Superdome Flex and HP ProLiant DL-series servers.
• Experience with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM).
• Strong knowledge of networking and enterprise storage technologies (SAN, etc.).
• Solid experience in scripting and automation, including Ansible.
• Excellent knowledge of Zabbix monitoring.
• Strong understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts and implementations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing and deploying SAP HANA environments within large enterprise organizations.
• Experience performing firmware upgrades on enterprise Intel-based infrastructure, including HP Superdome and DL-series platforms.

Language Skills

• Native level of French and/or Dutch - B2 level of the other language.
• Full professional working proficiency in English.
