Sopra Steria is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead medium- to large-scale digitalisation projects for public sector clients in Belgium. You will own end-to-end delivery, manage complex stakeholder environments, and contribute to growth through client relationships and presales activities.

You will oversee governance, manage budgets and risks, and apply PRINCE2/PMP and Agile approaches while coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in PM, 5+ in public sector digitalisation.
• Delivered €1M+ projects with 10+ team size.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian public sector.
• PRINCE2 and/or PMP certification; Agile experience.
• Experience with public tenders and procurement law.
• Dutch and/or French language skills; English working proficiency.
• Client-focused with strong leadership.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of digital/IT transformation projects (€500K–€10M+).
• Manage scope, budget, timeline, quality, risks and resources.
• Apply PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Report to executives and lead governance bodies.
• Build relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Navigate complex public sector governance structures.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities; support tenders.
• Manage risks, change and ensure compliance with regulations.
