Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT infrastructure transformation initiatives in a Belgian context. You will drive cloud migrations, DR solutions, and procurement-related activities while collaborating with IT Vendor Managers and business stakeholders.

Lead complex programs, define governance, monitor budgets and timelines, and ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a relevant equivalent.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in project management.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management of infrastructure projects.
• Prepare requirement analyses, distinguishing between user vs. technical requirements.
• Managing and supervising teams.
• Principles of ITIL & Agile.
• Certification in project management is a plus (e.g., Prince2, Agile, ITIL).
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Azure, cloud, firewalls, VmWare, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Windows Servers.
• Motivating team members and building team spirit.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and choose a suitable approach.
• Commitment to maintaining project administration in good order.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English (in word and writing).

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, governance, planning, timelines and reporting structures.
• Monitor budgets, resources, schedules, risks, assumptions and dependencies.
• Lead and oversee multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams through the project lifecycle.
• Maintain and evolve business cases for projects.
• Ensure effective stakeholder communication and reporting at all levels.
• Proactively identify risks and issues and facilitate informed decisions.
