Pauwels Consulting is partnering with a leading public organization in Brussels to recruit a seasoned Project Lead for platform and data transformation initiatives. The role focuses on streamlining operations, modernizing legacy environments, and advancing Agile adoption within IT.

You will drive infrastructure/software projects, manage data transformation programs, and report on health, timelines, and quality to senior stakeholders. Start date 07/09/2026; duration 4 months; Brussels location.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a project lead in infrastructure or software development.
• 8+ years of experience with Prince2 or PMBok project management.
• 5+ years of Change Management experience.
• 4+ years of ITSM project management experience.
• 4+ years of SIEM project management experience.
• Fluent in Dutch (C2).

Our client, a leading public organization dedicated to energy and climate policy, is seeking a seasoned professional to guide their platform and data transformation initiatives. The role involves streamlining operational processes, modernizing legacy application environments, and facilitating the transition toward Agile methodologies.

• Lead high-impact infrastructure and software development projects from initiation to closure.


• Manage complex data transformation programs and the modernization of legacy applications.


• Implement and monitor project management techniques including risk and issue management.


• Guide organizational change management to support the adoption of new platforms and systems.


• Coordinate with shared service providers to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions.


• Foster the adoption of Agile working practices within the IT department.


• Report on project health, timelines, and quality benchmarks to senior stakeholders.

• You have 8+ years of experience as a project lead in infrastructure or software development projects.


• You possess 8+ years of expertise in project management methodologies such as Prince2 or PMBok.


• You bring 5+ years of experience in Change Management.


• You have 4+ years of experience managing ITSM projects.


• You have 4+ years of experience managing SIEM projects.


• You are fluent in Dutch with a level of C2.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working within a public sector or governmental environment.


• Experience with Azure cloud environments.


• Experience coaching other Project Managers.


• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks.


• Proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
