Twenty8 is an independent IT services firm serving international organizations and EU institutions from Brussels. We seek a Senior IT Project Manager to drive medium to large IT projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality.

You will lead teams, manage risk, and align business needs with technical solutions in a multicultural setting. The role operates in a hybrid model with on-site Brussels presence three days a week, and requires a solid background across PMI/PRINCE2/PM²

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in project management.
• Experience managing complex IT and information systems projects.
• Strong knowledge of PMI, PRINCE2 and PM² methodologies.
• Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean or PM² Agile.
• Fluency in English (C1) and French (B2).

Responsabilités

• Manage medium to large IT projects for the implementation and evolution of information systems.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
• Define project strategies, plans, tasks, deliverables and resource requirements.
• Estimate and monitor project costs, timelines, resources and overall performance.
• Manage risks, quality, change requests, issues and project reporting.
• Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against objectives.
• Participate in governance activities and stakeholder meetings.
• Lead project teams, coordinate activities and review deliverables.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams and sponsors.

We are currently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to support a prestigious European Institution in Brussels.

This role will focus on the management of medium to large IT projects, overseeing the implementation and evolution of information systems while ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.

• Manage medium to large IT projects for the implementation and evolution of information systems;
• Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring continuous alignment between business needs and technical delivery;
• Define project strategies, plans, tasks, deliverables and resource requirements;
• Estimate and monitor project costs, timelines, resources and overall performance;
• Manage risks, quality, change requests, issues and project reporting;
• Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against agreed objectives;
• Participate in functional working groups, stakeholder meetings and project governance activities;
• Lead project teams, coordinate activities and review project deliverables;
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and project sponsors.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in project management;
• Currently holding at least one of the following certifications: PRINCE2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Practitioner, COBIT 5 Certification, PMI Project Management certification, PM² / PM² Agile certification;
• Strong experience managing complex IT and information systems projects;
• Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies, including PMI, PRINCE2 and/or PM²;
• Good knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean Software Development or PM² Agile;
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
• Experience with project management and tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, GitHub and ServiceNow;
• Ability to work effectively within international and multicultural environments;
• University degree in a relevant field;
• Fluency in English (C1) and French (B2).

This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence at the Brussels office 3 days per week.
