Pauwels Consulting is seeking a project manager to strengthen its data and digitalization team. You will oversee end-to-end ICT projects, from data platform modernization to new digital solutions within a complex public sector environment.

You will develop comprehensive plans, coordinate business stakeholders with ICT teams and external partners, and ensure rigorous reporting. The role requires Dutch language fluency and experience with PM methodologies and data governance tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a project manager in infrastructure or software development projects.
• Proven track record in complex organizational environments and the public sector.
• Experience managing external vendors and integration partners.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince2 or PMBok.
• Experience with data tools including Cognos, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Purview or data governance.
• Strong skills in management reporting and steering committee facilitation.
• Fluent in Dutch (C2 level).

This professional oversees end-to-end ICT projects, ranging from data platform modernizations to the implementation of new digital solutions within a complex organizational landscape.

• Develop comprehensive project plans while monitoring scope, timing, budget, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate collaboration between business stakeholders, internal ICT teams, and external vendors.
• Facilitate decision-making processes and escalates critical issues to steering committees when necessary.
• Provide transparent reporting on project status, risks, and quality to program management.
• Support the business in achieving strategic objectives through data-driven initiatives and process optimization.
• Apply standardized project management methodologies to ensure professional and consistent delivery.

• 3+ years experience as a project manager in infrastructure or software development projects.
• You bring a proven track record in complex organizational environments and the public sector.
• You possess professional experience in managing external vendors and integration partners.
• You have expertise in project management methodologies such as Prince2 or PMBok.
• You're experienced with data tools including Cognos, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Purview or data governance.
• You possess strong skills in management reporting and steering committee facilitation.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with data, cloud, or digitalization trajectories.
• Knowledge of Jira, Planner Premium, and MS Project.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and Power BI.
• Experience with risk management and issue management techniques.
