Elia Group in Brussels is seeking a Project Contract and Claim Manager – Works to support the Works Procurement team in contractual and commercial matters for engineering and construction in high‑voltage substations, lines, and underground cables.

You will manage contract changes, ensure compliance with service levels, and act as moderator between suppliers and Elia Group teams, contributing to procurement strategies across projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a technical, commercial or legal background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, project contract management or procurement of works related services.
• Strong technical affinity and/or experience in infrastructure or energy projects.
• Structured, autonomous, proactive, and team‑oriented.
• Analytical, solution‑oriented, strong communicator with strategic mindset.
• Fluent in Dutch and French; good knowledge of English.

Responsabilités

• Support and advise project teams on all contractual and commercial matters.
• Ensure delivered services comply with agreed service levels and commercial conditions.
• Manage contractual changes, variations, and potential issues proactively.
• Prepare and manage commercial documentation, including administration, reporting, performance monitoring, price adjustments, and formal communication.
• Manage contract risks, claims, disputes, and resolutions.
• Provide feedback to internal teams and colleagues to prevent future issues.
• Act as moderator between suppliers and Elia Group teams in escalated situations.
• Perform supplier management to ensure constructive collaboration and contractual delivery.
• Align with colleagues on market and supplier knowledge to improve negotiations and define procurement strategies.
• Contribute to transversal initiatives within Works, Procurement, or Elia Group working groups.
