Elia Group is seeking a Senior High Voltage Substations Engineer to define and maintain the technical framework for HV projects in Belgium. You will draft guidelines, specifications and templates, ensuring alignment with safety, environment and grid development goals.

You will work with a team of technical experts, manage contractor qualification processes, and communicate standard changes broadly. A master’s degree in electrical engineering and 5+ years HV experience are required, with fluency

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering with electrical/electromechanical focus.
• Minimum five years in high-voltage field, including two years as Project Leader/Engineer Substations.
• Analytical mindset and ability to align diverse expert views.
• Proactive, independent work style and team orientation.
• Fluent in French or Dutch with knowledge of the other language; English preferred.

Responsabilités

• Draft standards, guidelines and specifications for HV substations and projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers and engineers to improve specifications.
• Develop processes, templates and methods for technical activities and quality control.
• Communicate technical standard developments regularly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Purchasing on contractor qualification and qualification of quality managers.
