Scalejet is seeking a Senior Product Designer/Industrial Designer to lead end-to-end design from concept to production for patient care products. You will apply ergonomic, usability, and manufacturability insights, work with Asian manufacturers, and drive design for scale in a fully remote role.

The position requires 3+ years in industrial/product design, 2+ years in mass-produced medical devices or consumer products, and strong CAD/DFM capabilities. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Industrial Design or Product Design.
• 2+ years designing mass-produced consumer, HME, or DME products.
• Experience taking products from concept to mass production.
• Experience with mechanical CAD software.
• Experience working with manufacturing and supplier constraints.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end design from concept through production, including DFM and DFA analysis.
• Translate briefs and caregiver feedback into innovative, user-centered concepts.
• Apply materials knowledge to balance aesthetics, durability and cost.
• Create CAD models and detailed documentation with FEA and simulations.
• Design and validate mockups and prototypes for testing.
• Collaborate with engineers, sourcing partners, and marketing to balance creativity with cost targets.
• Improve design-to-prototype cycle times and efficiency.
• Maintain high manufacturability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
