Televic Healthcare is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop plastic enclosures and mechanisms for nurse call systems. You will lead the full design cycle from concept to validation, ensuring manufacturability and testability in close collaboration with product management and hardware teams.

Submit a robust design portfolio, demonstrate expertise in Siemens NX and Teamcenter, and contribute to a distinctive product look while balancing cost and performance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical design engineering, with strong expertise in plastic / injection-moulded design.
• Proven experience in Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Strong understanding of product design and development, optimizing for cost, quality and manufacturability.
• Experience with production tooling and automation/test systems (incl. test robots).
• A strong communicator with a feel for industrial design, comfortable working with hardware colleagues, product management and customers.

Responsabilités

• Mechanical design: Develop high-quality, innovative enclosures and mechanisms, primarily in plastic (injection moulding).
• Design for aesthetics & user experience: Maintain and advance distinctive product look, balancing performance, quality, cost and appearance.
• Customer- and product-driven design: Translate user needs into the best possible solutions.
• Product development & validation: Own design, prototyping, industrialization; run mechanical qualification tests.
• Design for Manufacturing and Testing: Optimize for manufacturability and testability throughout development.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with teams across business units to drive quality & innovation.
• Siemens NX & Teamcenter: Deliver precise designs and manage design data for collaboration.
