Lever, Inc. is seeking a Product Designer in Belgium for a fully remote, full-time role. You will shape products from problem definition to launch and iteration, collaborating with product and engineering teams across web, mobile, and portals.

You’ll build and maintain design systems, create interactive prototypes, and translate user feedback into actionable directions while working asynchronously in a distributed setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional product design experience in SaaS or related environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma including components, Auto Layout, and prototyping.
• Ability to map early concept to polished interfaces across web and mobile.
• Strong product judgment to refine concepts before detailed design starts.
• Experience designing data-dense desktop web apps and native mobile experiences.
• Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, and UX patterns for complex apps.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing to drive direction.
• Strong visual design fundamentals: typography, color, grids, and layout.
• Attention to detail and ability to resolve visual inconsistencies.
• Systems thinking with reusable design patterns and documentation.
• Excellent written and asynchronous communication, with minimal meetings.
• Self-directed and able to manage priorities independently.
• Adaptable to evolving design practices and AI-assisted workflows.
• Comfortable working in a distributed team with timezone overlap.

Responsabilités

• Own product design initiatives end to end from problem framing to post-launch iteration.
• Partner with product leaders, engineers, and designers to set direction.
• Design across surfaces: web, native mobile, widgets, and portals.
• Create and maintain high-quality Figma libraries and design patterns.
• Develop interactive prototypes that accelerate learning and decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure faithful implementation and avoid drift.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform decisions.
• Communicate design thinking through specifications, walkthroughs, and comments.
• Manage priorities across multiple product areas with leadership alignment.
• Refine mature experiences while introducing new features without disrupting users.
