Materialise is seeking a Device Development Manager to lead engineers in designing and supporting personalized and standard medical devices, including 3D‑printed guides and implants. You will drive design transfer, validation, and lifecycle support while aligning with regulatory standards and quality practices.

You will influence product development strategies, mentor the team, and collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and manufacturing partners to deliver safe, effective solutions for patients.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years experience in medical device development.
• Experience leading engineering teams in regulated environments.
• Experience with personalized devices, additive manufacturing, and orthopedic applications is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coach a team of device development engineers working on personalized and standard medical devices.
• Translate clinical, business, and technical requirements into robust product development plans.
• Drive the full design and development lifecycle, including risk management, verification/validation, and design transfer.
• Collaborate with regulatory, quality, manufacturing, clinical, and commercial teams to ensure successful development and launch.
• Ensure design controls are implemented effectively and maintained across projects and product lines.
• Promote compliant, efficient processes and continuous improvement in development practices.
