n8n, the open workflow orchestration platform, is seeking a Platform Product Lead to own the core platform strategy and roadmap. You will partner with Engineering and Product leadership to define priorities and drive discovery with enterprise customers.

You will shape scalability and security, coordinate major releases, and align cross-org teams—Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success—to deliver measurable platform value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product, with 2–3 years on platform, infrastructure, developer-facing, or backend/API products.
• Credible with senior engineers, able to discuss distributed systems, execution models, reliability and scalability trade-offs.
• Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives with real delivery risk, ideally including migrations or breaking changes.
• Able to make trade-offs explicit and connect foundational work to customer and commercial outcomes.
• Demonstrates ownership, autonomy and drives outcomes without waiting for direction.
• Excellent communication—explain complex platform topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understands self-hosted, air-gapped, and restricted deployments in enterprise environments.

Responsabilités

• Define and communicate the Core Platform strategy and roadmap with Engineering and Product leadership.
• Prioritize foundational investments based on customer impact, enterprise needs, risk, and effort.
• Lead product discovery for complex problems, engaging with enterprise customers and internal teams.
• Drive scalability and reliability of the execution engine and related areas (worker pools, distributed execution).
• Improve reliability across diverse deployment setups and secure code execution approaches.
• Plan and coordinate major releases with migration strategy, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Bridge Core team and wider org (Product, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Support) for platform trade-offs.
• Treat internal product teams as customers and translate roadmaps into explicit Core Platform work.
