Job summary

EMW, Inc. is seeking a Penetration Tester for on-site work in Mons, Belgium, to lead and participate in NATO Red/Blue Team exercises and perform comprehensive web, infrastructure, and application testing.

You will review security designs to ensure compliance with NATO directives and provide security consultancy across projects. The role requires an active NATO SECRET clearance, 3+ years in multiple penetration testing domains, and strong scripting and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• 3+ years in web application penetration testing.
• 3+ years in IT infrastructure penetration testing.
• 3+ years in network security architecture design.
• 3+ years in assessing security vulnerabilities across OS, software, protocols & networks.
• 3+ years in researching and evaluating security products & technologies.
• Knowledge of UNIX and Windows system administration.
• 3+ years using penetration testing tools, techniques and methodologies.
• Scripting skills in Perl, Python, Ruby or shell.
• Technical knowledge in security protocols, cryptography and malware protection.
• Ability to evaluate risks and formulate mitigation plans.
• Proven ability to write clear, structured technical reports for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or be part of Red/Blue Team during NATO military exercises.
• Provide Web, infrastructure and application level penetration testing.
• Provide security design reviews to ensure NATO policy compliance.
• Provide security consultancy to projects, plans and other entities.
• Coordinate with NCIA bodies and security authorities during accreditation processes.
• Brief executive and technical audiences on security reports and testing outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Penetration testing Cell leadership and stakeholders.
