Job summary

EMW is seeking a Penetration Tester with an active NATO SECRET clearance to operate on-site in Belgium. You will lead and perform web, infrastructure, and application penetration testing, and deliver security design reviews and practical remediation plans.

The role requires deep knowledge of security products, OS/network administration, and scripting. You will communicate findings to executive and technical audiences, coordinating with NATO authorities and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Extensive web application penetration testing experience (3+ years).
• Extensive IT infrastructure penetration testing experience (3+ years).
• Extensive network security architecture design experience (3+ years).
• Extensive experience assessing vulnerabilities in OS, software, protocols & networks (3+ years).
• Experience researching and evaluating security products & technologies (3+ years).
• Knowledge of UNIX and Windows system/network administration.
• Extensive use of penetration testing tools, techniques, and methodologies (3+ years).
• Scripting in Perl, Python, Ruby, or shell (bash/ksh/csh).
• Strong knowledge in security concepts: authentication, cryptography, malware protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or participate in Red/Blue Team NATO exercises.
• Provide web, infrastructure and application level penetration testing.
• Conduct security design reviews to ensure NATO policy compliance.
• Offer security consultancy to projects and plans.
• Coordinate with NCIA boards and security authorities on accreditation.
• Present security findings and remediation plans to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with the Penetration Testing Cell head for stakeholder coordination.
