Job summary
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Ontologist for Biologics Discovery to design, build, test, publish, and govern semantic models that enable knowledge graphs and AI/ML across biologics workflows.
You will partner with experimental scientists, data scientists, and IT to translate complex biology into computable ontologies, drive governance, and align semantics with enterprise standards across multiple country postings including Spring House, Titusville, Raritan, Beerse,
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant scientific/engineering field.
- 3+ years in ontology engineering or knowledge graph development.
- Hands-on with ontology release, validation, and change management.
- Proficient in OWL, RDF(S), SKOS/SHACL, SPARQL and design patterns.
Responsibilities
- Design, release, and govern ontology modules across biologics domains.
- Publish API-ready semantic assets for data products and AI workflows.
- Collaborate with scientists to translate concepts into computable models.
- Ensure semantic alignment with enterprise data governance.
