Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Senior Ontologist for Biologics Discovery to design, publish, and govern semantic models across datasets, enabling AI-ready data and retrieval workflows.

You will work with experimental scientists, data engineers, and platform teams to translate biology into machine-readable ontologies, aligning with enterprise standards and governance to support discovery and development.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Biomedical Informatics or related field and 3+ years in ontology engineering or knowledge graph development.
• Experience with semantic modeling, data governance, and enterprise standards is required.

Responsabilités

• Design, release and maintain ontology modules, vocabularies, and mappings.
• Model semantic concepts for knowledge graphs and AI/ML workflows.
• Collaborate with scientists and IT to align ontologies with enterprise governance.
