Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Ontologist for Biologics Discovery. You will design, build, test, publish, and govern semantic models enabling knowledge graphs, data products, search, analytics, and AI/ML across biologics workflows.

This role requires collaboration with biologists, data scientists, and IT, and will align semantic standards with enterprise governance to support AI-ready data across the molecule lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Biomedical Informatics or related field.
• 3+ years ontology engineering or knowledge graph experience.
• Proficiency with OWL, RDF(S), SKOS, SHACL, SPARQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and release ontology modules and vocabularies.
• Publish API-ready semantic assets for KG and AI.
• Collaborate with scientists to translate concepts into semantic models.
• Align semantics with enterprise governance and CMC partners.
