Job summary

NCIM is seeking an ESOC Engineer Level 2 to manage day-to-day enterprise network operations. You will handle tickets, incidents, changes, and problem management while optimizing capacity and lifecycle activities across the network.

Proactive monitoring with CA Spectrum and Splunk is required to identify risks and drive automation. The role demands seven years of hands-on experience, strong routing/switching expertise (BGP, OSPF, STP), and CCNP certification.

Qualifications

• CCNP or equivalent advanced networking certification is required.
• 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.
• Strong expertise in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, STP).
• Experience with Splunk for monitoring, log analysis, troubleshooting, dashboards and alerting.
• Familiar with network monitoring tools and incident management.
• Proven ability in root cause analysis and major outage resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily network operations, ticketing, incidents, work orders, changes and problem management.
• Lead incident response for critical outages and restore services within SLA targets.
• Monitor network health, performance, latency, bandwidth and device health using monitoring platforms.
• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, STP.
• Drive network optimization, capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
• Automate configuration management, backups and change validation.
• Maintain accurate documentation, standards and operational procedures.
