Job summary

Spektrum is seeking an ESOC Engineer to join our NATO-focused operations team in Mons, Belgium. You will manage daily network operations, incidents, and changes, while optimizing performance across enterprise environments.

Applicants should have CCNP certification and 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering, with strong routing and switching skills (BGP, OSPF, STP) and experience using Splunk for monitoring and dashboards.

Qualifications

• CCNP certification or equivalent is required.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.
• Expertise in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, STP).
• Experience with Splunk for monitoring, logging, dashboards and alerting.
• Experience with incident management and major outage resolution.
• Hands-on knowledge of network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• ESOC Engineer, Enterprise Service Operations Centre Level 2 network support.
• Manage daily network operations, tickets, incidents, work orders, changes and problem management.
• Network optimization, capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle activities across enterprise environments.
• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP).
• Monitor network health using CA Spectrum, Splunk and other monitoring platforms; create dashboards and alerts.
• Lead incident response for critical outages and coordinate stakeholders to restore services within SLA targets.
