Appsierra Group in Brussels is seeking an experienced Java developer to design, implement, test and maintain JAVA-based applications.

The role requires strong REST API experience, Spring Boot, SQL (DB2, PostgreSQL) and working with Agile methodologies, Jira/Confluence. The candidate should have 5 years of hands-on experience and be able to work independently on complex coding and debugging tasks.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in JAVA-based applications
• Training with certification or equivalent in Java/J2EE
• Experience implementing REST APIs
• Spring Boot experience
• SQL experience
• DB2 experience
• PostgreSQL experience
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience with React
• Experience with geographic data applications
• Experience with Bamboo
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Responsabilités

• Code, test and debug JAVA-based applications
• Maintain and enhance existing applications
• Implement REST APIs
• Participate in Agile development processes
• Work with Jira/Confluence and other Atlassian tools
• Develop applications that use geographic data
• Utilize Helm charts for deployments
• Work with React front-ends as needed
