Job summary

EMW in Brussels is seeking a Senior Assistant Internal Audit to support the Head Internal Audit. You will handle information input, document maintenance, meeting coordination, travel logistics, and IA report preparation.

Strong English, MS Office, and SharePoint skills are essential. Requirements include NATO SECRET clearance, related vocational training or equivalent experience, and 2+ years in technical/admin support roles.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance required.
• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience or secondary qual with 4 years post-related experience.
• At least two years in progressively responsible technical/admin support roles.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with SharePoint.
• Strong English, written and spoken.
• Ability to take initiative in a demanding environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for internal/external stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate input, extraction and maintenance of IA information from Agency sources and IMIS.
• Maintain IA documentation and assist in organizing meetings and travel arrangements.
• Prepare correspondence, reports and documents per official formatting guidelines.
• Prepare and circulate IA reports for review and signatures; manage distribution lists.
• Handle web content updates and SharePoint pages.
• Act as a point of contact and coordinate day-to-day information flow and inquiries.
• Draft memoranda and notes; manage filing and document retrieval.
• Liaise with Agency staff and external contacts; deputize for higher-grade staff when needed.
• Perform duties of Unit IKM Officer and Learning Officer as required.
