European Endowment for Democracy (EED) is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to lead financial and contractual management of its grant-making portfolio in Brussels. The role involves ensuring sound financial management, contractual compliance and effective grants administration while guiding colleagues and managing a team of staff and consultants.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and contractual management of EED grants across portfolio
• Review budgets, financial reports and documentation for donor compliance
• Manage grant contracts, amendments, payments and internal approvals
• Provide strategic guidance on grants and funds management
• Lead and develop a team of staff and consultants
• Prepare financial components of funding proposals and donor reports
• Monitor donor grants expenditure and ensure compliance
• Maintain grants data and records across EED systems
• Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and knowledge management
• Build relations with donors and stakeholders
