Next-Link in Bruxelles, Belgium is seeking a Senior IT Functional Analyst to translate business requirements into robust COBOL-based solutions. You will design interfaces, workflows and data structures, and coordinate with front-end, printing and communication teams.

You will review code when needed, write SQL queries, monitor production incidents, and support project milestones with the IS Project Manager. Fluent English and Dutch are required; French is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experienced in functional analysis, UI design, testing within an insurance IT environment.
• Master or Engineer in IT or related field with strong IT interest; Bachelor with at least 5 years of technical analysis experience.

Responsabilités

• Ensure stability and operability of the (sub)application.
• Translate business requirements into a structured IT solution with a functional approach.
• Assist in translating functional design into technical design.
• Prepare functional integration test cases based on requirements.
• Test the product before delivery to users.
• Analyze potential corrective actions and coordinate technical designers and programmers.
• Work with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs.
• Support project leaders in project implementation.
