Consort Group is seeking a seasoned Functional Analyst to translate business requirements into robust IT solutions for Life Insurance and related processes. You will work across UI, data, and process layers, collaborating with business and IT teams to ensure delivery and stability of applications.

You will analyze production issues, validate changes, and maintain functional documentation while engaging stakeholders and ensuring quality in a hybrid Brussels-based role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Functional Analyst role within a complex IT environment.
• Experience delivering large-scale business applications in insurance or banking.
• Strong knowledge of contract management and administrative systems.
• Bilingual/french-dutch-english capabilities at good level are required.
• Ability to transform business requirements into robust IT solutions and ensure delivery.

Responsabilités

• Analyze high-level business requirements and translate into detailed functional specifications.
• Design end-to-end IT solutions covering UI, processes, and data implications.
• Collaborate with Business, IS Project Managers, developers, testers and stakeholders to define scope and milestones.
• Prepare functional integration test scenarios and testing approach.
• Review implementations for alignment with requirements and design specs.
• Support technical teams by clarifying requirements and validating implementations.
• Monitor application stability and coordinate corrective actions in production.
• Perform functional validation before business release and maintain documentation.
