NEBIRU seeks a freelance Functional Analyst to transform business requirements into structured IT solutions, covering UI, business logic and database architecture. You will design end-to-end workflows for contract management, claims and financial processes in COBOL + SQL environments.

You will bridge business and technical teams, review COBOL code, run SQL queries, and lead functional/integration testing while coordinating Agile/Waterfall projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in IT/Engineering or related.
• 5-8 years as Functional Analyst or Lead Functional Designer in regulated environments.
• Hands-on COBOL and SQL Server experience with legacy systems.

Responsabilités

• Translate business requirements into IT solutions (UI, logic, database).
• Design end-to-end workflows for contract management, claims, and financial processes.
• Bridge between business stakeholders, developers, testers for alignment.
• Review COBOL code and validate logic with SQL queries.
• Define/test cases and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Coordinate teams across Agile/Waterfall projects.
