Job summary

Venquis seeks a Senior Functional Analyst to translate business requirements into functional specifications for a multi-year transformation. You will analyze complex financial workflows, support data migrations, and ensure integration with ERP-like platforms, SEPA payments, and analytics tooling.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in regulated environments, strong data modelling skills, and experience with Azure DevOps and AI-assisted analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in complex or regulated environments (finance, social security, public sector).
• Strong understanding of data modelling, process analysis and financial workflows, incl. contributions, settlements and SEPA payments.
• Experience with ERP-like platforms, data migrations and functional integrations.
• Knowledge of databases, queries, data structures and data flows.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable ticketing/test management tools.
• Experience using AI tools for analysis, specifications, data mapping or documentation, with the ability to critically evaluate their output.

The organisation is undertaking a multi-year transformation programme involving the migration of an existing central membership and financial management system, alongside the development of new, customised functionalities.

The systems support the management of member data, contributions, premiums and benefits, as well as federal and regional processes. They integrate with accounting, SEPA payments and analytical reporting.

The Senior Functional Analyst will translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications and perform business analysis where required.

Requirements

Experience & Technical Knowledge

Minimum 7 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in complex or regulated environments, such as finance, social security or the public sector.

Strong understanding of data modelling, process analysis and financial workflows, including contributions, settlements and SEPA payments.

Experience with ERP-like platforms, data migrations and functional integrations.

Knowledge of databases, queries, data structures and data flows.

Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable ticketing and test management tools.

Experience using AI tools for analysis, specifications, data mapping or documentation, with the ability to critically evaluate their output.

Languages

Dutch and French: professional proficiency.
