Job summary

AFD.Tech, part of Accenture, is seeking a skilled Functional Analyst to drive business and IT transformation across industries. You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and tech teams, capturing requirements and shaping functional specifications.

In Brussels on a hybrid basis, you will facilitate workshops, document processes and support test activities, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and delivering value across complex programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Functional Analyst with proven elicitation and documentation.
• Ability to define functional specs, test scenarios and UAT.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across IT and business.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead workshops and interviews with business users and subject matter experts.
• Analyze and model business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, Architects and Testers.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Functional Analyst to support business and IT transformation projects across a variety of industries and clients. Acting as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will analyze business needs, define functional requirements and ensure that delivered solutions meet both business expectations and technical constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• At least 3 years of experience as a Functional Analyst.
• Proven requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation skills.
• Ability to produce detailed functional specifications and test scenarios.
• Experience defining business rules, workflows and process models.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
• Experience in process mapping, optimization, gap analysis and impact assessment.
• Experience with data analysis and requirement traceability.

Methodologies and Tools

• Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Jira and Confluence.
• BPMN, Visio, Draw.io or equivalent process modelling tools.
• Requirement management and backlog tools.

Technical Awareness
