Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an Electronic Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team developing advanced microelectronic control systems. You will be involved throughout the electronics development cycle from concept and design through prototyping, testing and preparation for production.

This role blends hands-on electronics with collaboration across hardware, software and mechanical engineers to deliver reliable, high-performance products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics-related field.
• Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design.
• Comfortable working with laboratory equipment for debugging and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits and control systems for new and existing products.
• Translate system and product requirements into practical electronic solutions.
• Work on schematic design, component selection, PCB development and hardware integration.
• Build and test prototypes, identifying and resolving hardware issues during development.
• Support verification, validation and troubleshooting of electronic systems.
• Collaborate closely with embedded software, firmware and mechanical engineers.
• Analyse technical problems and contribute to design improvements and product optimisation.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications and test reports.
• Support the transition of new designs from development into production.
• Work with suppliers and other technical partners where required.

We're currently recruiting for an Electronic Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team developing advanced microelectronic control systems. You will be involved throughout the electronics development cycle, from initial concept and design through prototyping, testing, validation and preparation for production.

The role combines hands-on electronics development with close collaboration across hardware, software and mechanical engineering teams. You will work on technically challenging products where reliability, performance and efficient integration of electronic and microelectronic components are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic circuits and control systems for new and existing products.

• Work on schematic design, component selection, PCB development and hardware integration.
• Build and test prototypes, identifying and resolving hardware issues during development.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design.
• Comfortable working with laboratory equipment for debugging and validation.
• Able to analyse technical problems systematically and develop practical solutions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• A hands-on and proactive approach to engineering development.
• Good knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch or another European language is an advantage.
