Vivid Resourcing is recruiting a Senior Analog Design Engineer to join a semiconductor design team from concept to silicon validation. You will lead analog IC projects, own architectures, and collaborate across design, layout, verification and system teams to deliver high-performance IC solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in analog IC design.
• Strong transistor-level circuit understanding and semiconductor fundamentals.
• Experience with circuit simulation and industry-standard IC design tools.
• Knowledge of amplifiers, references, biasing, ADC/DACs, PLLs, regulators or similar analogue blocks.
• Experience with PVT, Monte Carlo and post-layout simulations.
• Experience with CMOS or other semiconductor technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ownership of complex challenges.

We're currently recruiting for a Senior Analog Design Engineer to join an experienced semiconductor design team working on the development of advanced integrated circuits from concept through to silicon validation.

The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of challenging analog design projects and contribute to the development of high-performance IC solutions.

You will be involved across the full analog IC design flow, including architecture, circuit design, simulation, layout collaboration, verification and silicon evaluation.

You will work closely with other IC designers, layout engineers, verification teams and system engineers to ensure robust, high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits from specification through to silicon.
• Define circuit architectures and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Perform transistor-level circuit design, simulation and optimisation.
• Analyse and resolve issues relating to performance, power, noise, stability, matching and process variation.
• Work closely with layout engineers to ensure designs are robust and achieve the required performance.
• Support design verification, including corner, Monte Carlo and post-layout simulations.
• Contribute to silicon bring-up, characterisation and debugging of prototype devices.
• Review technical work and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Contribute to improvements in analogue design methodologies, flows and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in analog IC design.
• Strong understanding of transistor-level analog circuit design and semiconductor fundamentals.
• Experience with circuit simulation and industry-standard IC design tools.
• Good knowledge of topics such as amplifiers, references, biasing, ADC/DACs, PLLs, regulators or other analogue building blocks.
• Experience with PVT, Monte Carlo and post-layout simulation techniques.
• Experience working with CMOS or other relevant semiconductor technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
• Experience with silicon bring-up and measurement is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
